Apollo Bay is located an hour or so past Lorne along the famous Great Ocean Road on Victoria's west coast. There's a beautiful bay with perfect smaller waves for beginners. And there's also plenty of bigger wave locations courtesy of the large southern swells that break throughout winter. Some places you'll find you're the only one out... best reserved for the experienced surfer only.
