About Little Hello Studio
Natalie Marshall is a Melbourne illustrator and designer. Little Hello Studio's small range of thoughtful, sustainable and fun products are designed and made in Australia.
Natalie’s outdoor Australian childhood was filled with climbing trees, swimming at the beach, playing every sport she could and drawing all the time. Camping and the Australian bush was a big part of her childhood and the magic of waking to magpies singing in the morning is an enduring memory. Nat grew up to become an internationally published illustrator, author and designer. With an extensive background in design, Nat has a creative mind with an eye for creating unique concepts in her distinctive graphic style. Nat’s list of internationally published books is extensive and her titles have featured on bestseller lists, have been Kirkus-starred and translated into many languages. Closer to home, Nat’s happy creative place, Little Hello Studio, creates a range of products that are inspired by her love of nature and our precious Australian native flora and fauna - especially birds!
An extensive family camping trip through outback Western Australia planted the seeds that are the foundations of the products that Nat now creates. Little Hello Studio’s small range of thoughtful, sustainable and considered products are all designed and made with love in Melbourne. Shaped by more recent experiences, Nat’s popular Australian Christmas decoration cards were born during Melbourne’s years of pandemic lockdown as a way for people to send a special little hello to loved ones. Natalie lives near the beach in Melbourne with her two busy children and her bike-loving scientist husband. Although she is a traveller at heart and spent years living and working in New York and London, Australia was always home.
