This print showing a W Class tram traveling along Collins Street with the beautiful art deco T & G Insurance Building in the background. Fortunately, the building has survived. The W Class trams in their traditional green and gold livery, haven’t been as fortunate, they seem to be very few and far between these days.

 

Harper and Charlie’s Melbourne W Class Tram is original in its concept and design.

The distinctive look of Harper and Charlie’s artwork is achieved by using vintage print techniques, such as coarse halftone screens, slipped registration, colour bleed, scuffs and scratches etc. which add to the look and feel of each design. Please note these elements have all been applied to the art on purpose and are not print defects in the final print.
