About Zafino

From an early age Founder Mindi was always making something! Back as a young girl and through her per-teenager years she was into art and loved nothing more than creating! Her entrepreneurial spirit meant sewing, painting, drawing, and selling her creations at the local markets and to family and friends. Juggling being a mother to 3 young children and starting the brand, Zafino was founded in 2010. 12 years on Mindi’s 2 daughters are now integral parts of the business. All pieces are designed in house at their Melbourne based head office. They work closely with theie makers across the globe, in Jaipur, India Zafino has partnered with a factory that has 70% of its staff as women, empowering women at every stage of the process. Your Zafino pieces are designed to live a long life if they are taken care of. To keep your Zafino pieces looking their best it is recommended you follow these jewellery care steps:

Remove any non water resistant jewellery before showering, swimming and washing your hands to avoid damage to jewellery plating and the risk of tarnishing

Avoid applying lotions, creams and perfumes on or near your jewellery as chemicals from these products can cause plating damage

Store your jewellery pieces separately in cool, dry places out of direct sunlight and extreme heat

Remove your pieces before getting into bed to avoid any accidents that may cause damage to the pieces

Water resistant styles can be worn in water however it is recommended to not wear your pieces in any chlorinated pools or leave your pieces in salt water for long period of time without rinsing
